tip
At the Science Tokyo., in collaboration with Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., we have established tip on the Yushima and Surugadai campuses, aiming to realize a society where better medical care and improved health for people are promoted. Through the planning and operation of tip, we aim to induce collaboration between academia, various industries, startups, and government, and strive to achieve innovation in medical and healthcare.
medU-net (Japanese Association of Meidcal University Network for Technology Transfer)
In order to fulfill the important role of promoting university research and contributing to society, particularly in the field of medicine, there are numerous unique challenges in industry-academia collaboration, such as the difficulty of patent establishment and technology transfer, as well as the need to comply with contracts and regulations. To facilitate smooth and appropriate collaboration in the medical field, Japanese Association of Medical University Network for technology transfer(medU-net) has been established to build a cooperative system among the industry-academia collaboration departments of medical universities nationwide. The secretariat is located at Science Tokyo, and our university is actively engaged in efforts to address these challenges.
