Technical Consultation (First Time)

Consultation service for Industry-academia collaboration with Science Tokyo.

Collaborative Research

In regard to specific research subjects, Science Tokyo faculty members and corporate researchers work together on research and obtain research findings.

Sponsored Research Program

In regard to specific research subjects, the corporation bears the expenses required for the research, and Science Tokyo faculty members (are commissioned to) conduct the research.

Academic Consultation

In regard to the specific challenges of corporations, Science Tokyo faculty members leverage the knowledge and skills they possess to provide guidance and give advice.

Visiting Researcher Program

Corporate researchers conduct research at Tokyo Tech under the guidance of Science Tokyo faculty members.

Joint Work Project

Activities other than research, which will be jointly conducted between corporate personnel and Science Tokyo faculty/staff members on specific subjects or issues.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

When there is exchange of information between both parties regarding the research to ascertain whether the parties are in agreement concerning the intention of the research subject, an NDA is concluded between Science Tokyo and the corporation when required.

Material Transfer Agreement (MTA)

When there is exchange of information between both parties regarding the research to ascertain whether they are in agreement concerning the intention of the research subject, when the properties, etc., of material created by faculty members are learned of within the corporation, an MTA is concluded between Science Tokyo and the corporation.

Data Transfer Agreement (DTA)

When there is a request for the use of research data (that are not copyrighted works) acquired or generated by a faculty member in the course of research activities from a partner in a joint research project or other corporation, etc. for compensation, Science Tokyo and the corporation, etc. will conclude a contract for the use of the research data.
