International Open Innovation Symposium 2026

In today’s society, addressing global challenges requires not only individual technologies and specialized knowledge, but also greater interdisciplinary collaboration and stronger partnerships among academia, industry, and government. By integrating a broad spectrum of research fields—including medicine, science, and engineering—through the merger of its predecessor institutions, Institute of Science Tokyo is committed to tackling pressing societal challenges and establishing itself as a hub for an innovation ecosystem that will support the society of the future.

This event is organized to foster meaningful exchange among representatives from industry, academia, and government, with the aim of promoting sustainable collaboration and generating innovations that contribute to societal development.

This event and UIDP Japan, taking place on Thursday, November 12, will form a series of international events bringing together representatives from academia, industry, and government from Japan and around the world to foster collaboration.

The afternoon lab tours will be jointly organized in collaboration with UIDP Japan.
